The California Young Democrats are excited to return to beautiful Lake Tahoe for the 2024 CYD Post Primary-Organizing Retreat presented by the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW) and State Building & Construction Trades Council of California (SBCTC), April 5 – 7, 2024. Retreat late registration is still open, however the hotel room block closed on March 20th (see below), so organize with your local CYD members, make your plans and get ready to join us in Lake Tahoe for a packed weekend of guest speakers, trainings, expert panels, and fun!

Accommodations

CYD’s secured room block at Bally’s Lake Tahoe closed on March 20, 2024. Bally’s is concentrating all CYD members on the same floor(s). Rates were set at $119.00 on Friday, April 5th, and $149.00 on Saturday, April 6th, not inclusive of resort fees and taxes, but negotiated to include parking and up to 4 people per room. The total cost for the weekend for one room with up to 4 people was set at $377.08 with all taxes and fees. Now that the room block has closed, room availability is low, and Bally’s may not honor this discounted rate.

You may still attempt to book a room by calling Bally’s reservations department at: (775) 588-3515 ext. 3015 and provide the group code “STCY24” or the group name California Young Democrats. You may also contact ExecutiveDirector@cayoungdems.com who can ask Bally’s if they can help you secure a room at the previously negotiated rate.

Because Bally’s is in Nevada and there is a casino on-site, each room must have at least one individual that is 21 years-of-age or older at the time of check-in.
